I have 6 lights in parallel I want to run from one switch. I believe I have everything correct but only the first light works. I have black and white (and ground) coming into the switch box from the panel and black and white (and ground) going out. The white wires (neutral) are nutting together and the blacks (hot) go through the switch. Blacks and whites go to the first light and are pigtailed to the light socket with ground twisted. Then on the next and pig tailed. All 6 lights are this way, the last one is dead ended at the light socket. But only the first light works. Can anyone tell me how to fix this please?

You wire nuts are not tight on first to second light. Are you forgot to put in the light bulbs! Everything seems right but I'm not an expert

If I understand you correctly and you have wired the lights as shown below, the fault can only be a poor connection in either the first or second light. Can be poor connection in either the hot or the neutral.

Thank you guys. And thank you for the nice diagram. I'll check connections today. I was thinking it was more complex than that. That is what I get for working 12 hours and then going home to work on the house.

You never learn if you don't try. But be Careful with hot wires
