Hi
I just had a question about plumbing parts. I am doing a little bit of a home project that requires various copper nipple fitting sizes. I'm having a really hard time finding them at plumbing stores. It seems that more stores I have been going to, the less they end up having. Now I am making the assumption that nippple fittings are just male flarred fittings on each end of the pipe that can be used to connect to other pipes (correct me if I'm wrong). Can I just use two female ends and combine them with a coupling and it will do the same thing that a nipple fitting will?

Thanks for your help

I don't understand your question.
I am doing a little bit of a home project that requires various copper nipple fitting sizes. There are no copper nipples, Galvanized, black iron and brass are the only nipples, Please complete your third line. What, exactly are you looking for. A nipple with a male and female thread on each end? Let me know. Tom
