Hello, my question is... I would like to try modeling but my mum won't support me. I need her support with this as I am too young to do it without her/dads permission. I understand her concerns as when she was in her teens she had an eating disorder (that according to her ruined her life & career hopes etc.) I really want to try modeling before I leave school, as I hope to study medicine when I finish. (& of cause most people think medicine & modeling can't mix.) Any tips on how I can get the best of both worlds?
By the way. Mum says that it is against her beliefs as a christian and it is against her morals etc. (if it was only dad he would probably let me). And of cause I would only do stuff I am comfortable with (yes I am a christian to) etc.

Who ever said modeling and medicine doesn't mix is pretty stupid to me. You can do whatever your heart desires, however you are, in fact, a minor and if your mother says no then that's too bad. You'll have to wait until you're 18.

I have never heard anyone say modeling and medicine does not mix.
How old are you? If you need mom and dad's permission and they have said no, then no means no!
Concentrate on your studies, that is the important thing for you right now.
