My husband has been a few weeks now not eatting hardly anything due to very upset stomach when he eats solid foods. He can drink fine, he drinks soda, tea, water anything, but a milk shake did him in as well. Some days he can eat very small amounts of food, and be half way OK, but most days he gets sick to his stomach. He has only vomited 1 time since this started. He does get diareha when he does eat solids. He went to the dr and was prescribed acid control meds. Dr said it was acid reflux. Since taking the meds he has gotten no relief. Im sure stress has A lot to do with this, but he can't keep going like this. Hes weak and needs to eat. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Yeah... go to the doctor... even if you have to get a different doctor.

Those are NOT symptoms of acid reflux... I know because I have it (acid reflux).

Maybe it a shot in the dark but to me it sounds like a stress induced stomach ulcer. My mom had three when going through a stressy time and she wouldn't eat but could drink fine. When he was sick was there blood?
