I went to the hair salon today and she can never get it right so I think I'm done there. Anyway, I had it dyed blonde and wanted it blonder because it was a little too brassy for me and my purple shampoo wasn't helping. Well I ended up with uhhh disgusting hair. It looks almost strawberry blonde and brassy together at the roots on the new hair. And the rest is just tooo toooo dark. I left a purple shampoo on for like 15 min and it didn't do much of anything. Advice?? PLEASE & thanks (:

Hey there:) Haha I know the feeling chick. I'm naturally white haired but I dyed mine black and this isn't my first time going back. So since your hair is brassy to remove that this is what I do.

1: Deep condition my hair 2, once over night, once in the after noon 3 hours the day before I start the process as it helps my hair heal and prepare.

2: Use coconut milk based shampoos and conditioners, leave in treatments, and I highly recommend blonde glam by redken. Make sure you get the right after care products.

3. When my hair reaches the orange state I use Unred, it's a dark purple almost black looking shampoo in a packet you can get at sally's for 99 cents, and it's worth it.

4. I use 30. Vol soy developer by clairol, and quick blue bleach, quick white works well, but if you want best results for orange hair to go bye bye get quick blue. One it works faster and 2 purples and blues help remove brassy colors.

5. When you bleach it make sure you constantly check on it.

6. When rinsing your hair out make sure you use coconut milk products as they help heal hair and your purple shampoo!

7. deep condition for an hour or 2 rinse out and done!:)

Hope this helps wish you luck!

Thank you so so much girl (:!
Now since it's mainly just a darker shade of blonde, should I just use the Unred? And blonde glam? Then use my purple? Since I don't want to re-dye it just yet in-case she will fix it free? Do you know what I mean?
