My brother has made a claim that in Canada it is illegal to barter, that the government has passed laws against it. I have used Google but can not find out information about it.
We were talking about bartering goods between people with no exchange of money.

No in fact Canada has laws to tax it. So if you do, you have to pay your taxes.

After reading 1/2 of the sexual posts today, that sounds like the only thing people are doing.
But there were several web sites about this, since I guess it was a issue in Canada and they had some court rulings about it
