Ok so it's a Father and a Son along with a woman(cannot remember if that is the mom I don't think it is) they head off to jamaica and the boy begins to like a girl and theirs a jamaican guy who wears a necklace... one time a lot of jamaican teens or abit older whatever... jumps of a cliff with a huge rock seeing if they can get to the bottom and come back out alive... the jamaican and the new boy tries it but the jamaican gives his necklace to the new kid and when the guy jumps in he gets eaten by a monster while the new boy survives... the girl's father(or uncle can't remember again) doesn't like the Father or his son... the dad is a scientist and is friends with another jamaican... one night the four(Jamaican friend, Dad, Son, woman) went out for a boat ride... the monster in shown on a little screen and sees that it eats a shark whole... they send their little friend(a seal) to investegate... although he dies too... they are then attacked by the monster and the Dad sees that it has a hand and cuts one of its fingers the next day the friend and the dad looks at the ship and the dad notices that the moster almost has an opposable thumb... ok long story short... this creature was in the shape of almost a shark but in a ship wreck somehwhere he mutants into a monster... he chases everyone down to a lab... where there is this other guy(who was probably afraid of everything or mentaly ill) whom I think they knew each other because the man was like "R-remember me?" or something like that... the creature eats him... the people somehow (cant remember)puts him in a tube or something and kills him...
