I'm a 17 year old girl and I've never been kissed, been on a date or had a real boyfriend. I had a "boyfriend" in 5th grade but I hardly count that. I believe I'm attractive. I play field hockey so I'm in good shape. I'm smart and talented. My problem is I've always stayed away from guys and only just started a year or two ago to be friendly with them. I'd like to become friends with more guys and maybe take to another level. Can anyone give me advice on how to be more outgoing and be more friendly with guys?

Great!! Keep up the good work and continue focusing on things that matter, such as school and your future. You can smile, normally that attracts people, but why fill yourself with the drama of being dating and relationships when you have more important things to do? Just enjoy your life, live it normally, no need to have someone else there when you have probably done well on your own.

That's good advice. I'm trying to graduate with high honors so I guess focusing on school with get me into a better college then worrying about dating.
Thanks

Looks like you have done well being yourself. Continue to do that. The right person will come along.

Ya, start talking to them.
Think of bears: they're more afraid of you than you are of them. Likewise, it's usually more difficult for guys to talk to women than it is for women to talk to men. So, you'll have the upper-hand.
You sound confident and positive, you won't have a problem finding someone.
