New paint is peeling, chipping, not off the walls, but off the trim, such as doors, windowsills. We notice it most with heavy use like around interior door knobs, etc. I am very upset because I'm not even a professional and I painted the insiide of my whole house several years ago AND I sanded until I was blue in the face, getting every nook and cranny fully sanded, and I'm afraid that the Painter in my present new condo maybe thought he could get away with inadequate incomplete sanding, or just sort of sluffed off, with a quick once over. I know what a job it is and maybe some painters just feel like they can get away with it.
Is there any goo way to fix this other than doiong lite sanding over the very small area and touching up? Obviously we can't strip all the paint off, sand again and repaint!!
