I'm fourteen years old, and I started my period in 6th grade. Every period I have, I've tried tampons and always get the same result. I will put it in and it will hurt at first. Then, I will feel this... feeling like I have to poop.. I know that's gross. Then, I will feel it slightly and it will hurt a little. But, it won't absorb anything and my period will leak like nothing is in there. What am I doing wrong!

Are you inserting the tampon into the correct opening? It doesn't sound like it.
