I naturally have auburn hair which grew in nearly pure white after a trauma when I was 33.I am 43,and decided to dye my hair medium brown, but using a temporary dye so that if I changed my mind I could allow it to fade out. However,if you Google natural instincts you will find a huge number of people commenting how this stuff will not dye their hair. They changed the formula.I guarantee you they are correct. It does nothing. Now I am faced with pure white roots, brown dyed parts of hair, and a load of frustration/embarrassment.Because I never wanted to go permanent. At this point I am horrified and self esteem is crashing. What is the safest way to remove this color from my hair and choose something really pale that won't magnify how white the roots are when I am between coloring. My hair is not fine as in having hair loss or thinning) but the hair itself is wispy, and fries easy.Life almost feathery if that makes sense. So if anyone knows the least traumatic (to my hair) way to remove this dark dye,and recolor it to a pale option,I would be eternally grateful.Walking around with med brown hair and white roots is a real shattering punch to my confidence. Thanks for any assist.
