I currently live in FL and I'm on probation for the next two years, my girlfriend and I were planning on moving up north to PA with her family who is wealthy and I have a job, and applied for a college. The only problem is I have no family up there. Is that going to be a really big issue? Her dad wrote a letter stating he is going to help me and that I will be working for him in his business. I just want to get my life going, and doing it up there would be best for me. Please give answers!

And if my girlfriend is pregnant will that matter at all?

It all matters except family, they want to see and know where you will be living, proof you have somewhere to live, Proof you will have a job. Normally if there are programs you are ordered to do, proof you completed your programs.

Then there will be a formal transfer that you will fill out and the PO will submit it.
It has to be approved by both the state you want to transfer from, and the state you want to transfer to. It can take from 1 month to about 3 months.

Also if you have had any violations it can effect the transfer.

I have 1 violation when I was on house arrest for 1 year, but I just got it reinstated. I will be tranfering from FL to PA, do you think Florida will have any problem with the tranfer to PA?
