Got a letter from wife's insurance company. Said Human Papilloma Virus for which further requirements would have been necessary. Whatever that means??
She was declined coverage.

I don't see this as a "gal" question. I know HPV is linked to cervical cancer. http://hpvvirusinwomen.com/
Anyway, the exact wording is "further requirements" would have been necessary?
And, yes, you can have Human Papilloma Virus following a hysterectomy. Did the virus necessitate the hysterectomy?

That 's what is puzzling. It was after the hysterectomy.. The condition is mentioned in a report from the insurance company. Wife is unaware of the condition. Wife's previous doctor unresponsive after 10 attempts.to ask her where the diagnosis came from ?

My guess? Lab work following hysterectomy.
I'd DEMAND to know.
