Hello
I have a 21" 6.5/190CC self-propelled Troy Bilt lawn mower. I purchased this a year ago and used it sparingly. Today, I was using after 2 months. I filled some gas and oil and started to use it.
A few minutes after I started it, it started bellowing out white smoke from the metal side. It got too much before the engine stopped. I then noticed that oil was leaking from the front/ right end (black part) of the engine.
Can anyone suggest what the problem could be? As you may have guessed, I am a novice in this area. Appreciate any help. I have pictures taken of the leak if anyone needs it.
Thanks!

Hi,
My guess is that it has has gas contaminate the oil in the sump creating an over-full condition that then over-pressurized the crankcase and blowing out the sump gasket and thereby the oil. Pictures could possible help.
Peace,
Clarke
