My pump grinder was working fine,checked connection,breaker,but still won't run and when I flush toilet,water starts to gurggle in tub and water comes out of pipe above pump outside.Really cannot afford plumber,what should I do?

my pump grinder was working fine,checked connection,breaker,but still wont run and when I flush toilet,water starts to gurggle in tub and water comes out of pipe above pump outside.Really cannot afford plumber,what should I do?

The first thing I'd check is the float switch. It sure sounds like it has failed. Good luck, Tom
