My granddaughter is going to be a year old and right now I'm not sure what direction I should go was going to take my son to file for visitation, but as of now I am unsure. Just seen a video that my granddaughters mother posted on Facebook teaching the baby to pull her own hair out made me really sick not knowing how this can effect her through out life. Could this be a form of abuse should my son file for full custody to protect his daughter from this type of miss treatment...

Hello and sorry for your troubles, I can't imagine why or how anyone could hurt a child but if you in anyway think your grandaughter is being mistreated then show the video to the police and or family services if there. Don't wait' if you are wrong about what you seen then no harm done. Better safe than sorry.

Your son should be worrying and he should be doing something. Why it is you are worried and he is not ? He should be filing for custody if he loves his child and wants his child, why did he not do it long ago

As of Friday my son has filed for custody of his daughter... this will probably be the last weekend we get to spend with this baby once the mother is served with the papers next week or at least that's what we have been threatened with for the 11months she has been around. And by the I personally am taking the video to cps and hope they can help my granddaughter

Ask for an expedited temporary order preserving the status quo while the custody petition is pending.
