View Full Version : What are the chances of pregnancy?

This is a very serious question. I'm really scared right now, and I already know I was stupid. I had originally told him "no" when we started going past where we usually stopped, but he kind of distracted me. He's my boyfriend, (We've been together for four years but are still too young for this) so it wasn't a one night stand, and I know he's a virgin... or was... read below and then tell me if society would consider us virgins or not...

Give it to me straight: What chance is there that I could be pregnant?

I'm thinking of taking a test in the next few days.

Facts:

-This happened on Saturday, and it is now Thursday. I've been worried to the point of sickness for the past few days.
-There was no condom
-It was an intense make out session
-We both ended up naked
-His penis did not go in, the tip just rubbed on the outer lips of my vagina
-He was dry. No pre- or semen
-I was wet though
-I'm in between periods.
-I did some calculating in my head, and some research and found out that I'm not ovulating for at least another 5 days. (Since ovulation occurs 12-15 days after the last day of a period)
-He came on my back (when he did) and then we wiped it up. I'm a little concerned because the cloth that we used to wipe it up went down there a little, so I'm concerned that some of the come might have transferred from the cloth to the vagina...
-If it did, it was a very very VERY minute amount
-Only the tip of his penis touched the very outer lips of my vagina. I'm not even sure it was the opening. It may have been above the opening.
-I took a test this morning and the result was negative.

What are the chances... should I take the test again? Should I start preparing? How long should I wait before I take a test? Are the accurate this soon? Am I just psyching myself out? Help :'(

It's too soon to take a test. Yes, there could have been pre-c'um when his penis touched you. Yes, you could be pregnant. If you act like an adult, then this is what happens. If you don't want to be pregnant, don't have sex. Now you have to wait until you miss a period (or not).

I'm 18, and will be 19 in less than a month, so I'm not a child.

Glad you aren't a child and know how to control yourself in the future. Best wishes and hope you aren't pregnant. A baby is a life-altering experience.

I hope I'm not pregnant too. I've asked on other sites and even contacted a doctor. Everyone seems to be saying the chances are so slim that I shouldn't worry, but I'm so paranoid. I'm cramping and I'm not due for a period for a week. Even though I'm not 100% regular. Sometimes I go early and sometimes I go late, but just for a few days. Could the stress of this situation bring on a period?

Stress can bring it on or it can keep it from happening.

Ugh! I have never wanted my period so bad in my life :/ My parents will kill me. Literally kill me if I end up pregnant.
