So me and this chick were talking for like 2 months and I ended up asking her out and we went on to a relationship but after a few weeks she texted me and said she wants to get to know me more before we date for a longer period and that she likes me and still wants to date but wants to get to know me more first. Since then it's been awkward I feel we don't talk as much and when we do it's very little and the conversation ends randomly. I'm a nice guy to nice but I don't want to get hurt so I mean she texted me that I don't put enough effort in when I feel like I do and she just doesn't see it. What do I do?

Be careful guy. You may have gotten with the cutie that needs a lot of attention, and affection, and loves to be chased after. Lots of compliments, and little things to show you care.

High maintenance. Sometimes the more they get the more they want. If they don't get what they want, you will surely hear about it. Tread carefully, she may never fully appreciate a nice guy.

Were both 19.. over the last week it has improved I've gave her a lot of attention compliments all the time and go out with her at least 3 times a week... havent kissed her yet though kind of nervous tbh... we never talk on the phone but we do when we go out if not then we text
