I will hopefully be having a braces appointment soon and wanted to know how long from the appointment will I be able to have the braces put on? Please let me know asap

It sounds as though you are having the first visit, where they take x-rays, the treatment coordinator discusses the general process and the orthodontist describes your situation and the ways it can be treated. You then go home with a packet of information that states the cost, how you be billed, and how long the treatment is expected to take. If you turn around and maybe the next day call them to say yes, you'll do it, they might be able to schedule you put on the braces in just a few days. It all depends on the orthodontist and how he or she runs the practice. I hope this is what you meant by "how long from the appointment" until you get the braces on.
