I was sentenced in Miami ,Florida Federal court on May 9 and agreed to self surrender on July 9 _ Now I am running out of time and being faced with medical issues and personal issues and I need more time to surrender myself . My lawyer already received too much money and I have nomore to give him . Is there anyway I can reach my judge for much needed time to surrender myself ?

You will have to file a motion to the court, asking to modify sentencing to allow you XXX date.
Don't expect it, most people do not get to "report to prison" Most are just taken into custody when the sentencing is done. But you may try.

The court will not consider your motion while your attorney is still "attorney of record". You would first need to have him withdraw as your attorney.

Im sending my lawyer 2 medical letters from 2 different doctors.. Im just asking for 2 weeks to a month more .Im just not ready for July 9... My lawyer told me to send the medical letters to him and he didn't mention money so here's hoping he doesn't >he got more than enough and I feel he did nothing for it.. antyway thank you so much for your time . Nobody ever is. I'd GET ready, though. I seriously doubt your request will be granted.. He MIGHT send you to the Federal Hospital at Springfield, Mo. though. Right now you're scheduled to go to a camp. I wouldn't mess with it.
