Well,
1. If the ribs were cooked on the grill then the alcohol part would burn off. The taste might be there and they probably said they put it in there don't worry because it probably burned off. Beer and wine burn off when in major heat!

Good luck!

The alcohol mentioned probably created no EtG but even if EtG resulted it would have been eliminated in a few hours. (Musshoff, 2010 (https://springerlink3.metapress.com/content/pg6761694335q584/resource-secured/?target=fulltext.html&sid=5lr11lehjqfcknunykagkctc&sh=www.springerlink.com#Fig2))

Does that mean that it does not take 80 hours to leave your body like it does when you drink

Yes it means exactly that. EtG is created in proportion to the amount of alcohol consumed based on your personal metabolism. Small amounts of consumed alcohol are never detectable in the range of 80 hours.

The 80 hour range applies to a very small percentage of the more extreme cases. (Wojcik & Hawthorne, 2007 (http://alcalc.oxfordjournals.org/content/42/4/317.full#T1))
