I have bin in pain with my right wisdom tooth and have had two accounts of antibiotics to clear the infection after I completed the course I was still getting toothache so made an emergency appointment with my dentist they give me a needle to numb the area of the tooth before attempting to remove it when it felt numb she began to take the tooth out but I could feel everything so she topped me up on more of the numbing needle which still failed I am now in lots of pain and my wisdom tooth is very wobbly can anyone suggest anything thank you

All I can say is this: an oral surgeon should be removing teeth, not a regular dentist. It costs more but it's worth it. Novocaine works and tooth is out in a matter of seconds.

I went to the dentist for a wisdom tooth removal and an infection of the gum below they clamped the tooth and loosened it for half hour and they pulled with a number of different clamps but they had to stop as my jaw was close to being dislocated as they were pulling, I was sent home they have written to the hospital to have it removed there as the hospital could deal with the complex job and the dentist couldn't, no anti-biotics for the infection just told to take iburofen so I now have an estimated 5 week wait for the hospital and a wobbly extremely painfull tooth :(

Again - tooth extraction should be done by an oral surgeon, not a dentist.
Call the dentist office and ask for an antibiotic prescription called in to your drugstore.
