My 3 year old ran into a pole on the playground. She busted both her lips, to start with. Because of her behavior, the teachers thought she was OK enough to go back out, but then her nose started bleeding.

Her nose is red on the bridge and hasn't bled again since the original time. She is now home and running around like normal. I thought I might give her some Tylenol in case it starts to hurt.

How do I know on someone so small if her nose is broken? If it is, is there anything a doc can do for her?

You can't tell if her nose is broken. A Physician can.

What treatment she'll receive depends on how serious the break is.

I would NOT give her Tylenol when she's not in pain.

Does the nose look our of shape, or flat perhaps. You will really have to get a doctor to look at it, to know if it is broken. If it was most likely she would not have been OK in a few minutes
