I was fighting for a year to get my children back as they got taken off me for two reasons 1st being.. Neglect on my middle child (aged3) and 2nd being in a relationship with someone who had a criminal record and was a risk to not only myself but my kids (which I didn't no until the kids got taken), whilst fighting for my kids there was nothing I didn't do for them yet this got twisted and ss said I didn't do the simplest of things, I ended the relationship a month before the kids got taken yet I still lost in court and my daughter is waiting to be adopted, no one in my family could try and get her as 1) apparently it was to far in court proceedings and her grandad didn't know her and 2) my mam is on medication for depression has been 25yrs.. I was just woundering if I can still appeal against this and get my daughter either back with me or a family member

An appeal is not re-rolling the dice. You have to persuade the appellate court that the trial court made some sort of a mistake, either in applying the law or (more difficult) in deciding the facts. Your best bet would be to find a lawyer who sees significant error in the record justifying reversal on appeal.

Do I have to do this in a certain amount of time? Just so I can find a good lawyer to fight my appeal with me

Certainly. It depends upon the state or country you are in. Often it would be 30 days or less.

I'm in the uk, she was put up for adoption in march this year and told by my solicitor I couldn't appeal against this
