My 3 month old chihuahua has had swollen eyes for three days now. I've been to the hospital and they gave her a steroid shot but that didn't work. Took her to the vet they gave me an anoiment for her eyes and some antibiotics but still nothing is working. Any ideas why her eyes keep getting more and more swollen?

Wow - I know my puppy had swollen eyes and the Vet tried steroids followed by Benadryl. I was told it was "probably" an allergic reaction to her puppy vaccines.

There is no explanation for the swelling?

None of the vets know what she has and everyday it gets worse

Is the eyes are seeming to bulge or is the eyelids that are swollen?
Is there any other facial swelling?
Any sores or crusty areas?

Time for a second opinion.

Her eyes are finally getting back to normal, the benadryl is working
