I have a gold knob walking stick with the monagram Dr. J.T. Wilson from F.B. F
The hall mark is 2 in a circle, shield with Swith a line going through it and 457A.
What do I have? And the value of it.

It came from the Washington D.C area.

None of the hallmarks are for gold, there makers marks. Generally if its solid gold, it will have 10 K, 14K, etc. or 3 digit numbers. So if its plated or gold filled, and your not a relative to Dr Wilson, the value isn't too much. IS it ornate at all, difficult without a picture.
