I am currently working in OPT in Redmond,Wa. My employer is deducting OASDI and medicare tax from my salary. When I reported I can be excluded from these taxes he's saying its better to pay these tax as it will help whne filing my H!B in future. Can you please provide suggestion if its really required to pay OASDI and medicare taxes for getting H1B in future. I can see I am losing 5-6K in OASDI and medicare which is a big amount for me. I want to save them But I want to know if it will affect my H1B in future. Pelase provide your suggestion.
