I am having an issue with my GE refrigerator model no.GSC23LSRCSS. It will not dispense water nor ice cube/crushed. The indicator light on the touch pad will turn off once the lever is pushed neither the ice door will open. It seems there is no power being generated to the system.
Please help, thank you.

You could have a bad freezer door interlock, which is the little switch on the freezer door that turns on the light when freezer door is opened and when closed it allows the auger to work. The switch should pull out if you will carefully depress the clips on each side of switch with a butter knife and pull out. You need to unplug the refrigerator and mark the wires and pull off two of the three wires. There is a normally open and normally closed contact and one common. Look in this manual and it is shown in the middle of right-hand schematic on page 61: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/GE_Profile_Artica.pdf
And on page 64 of this one: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/GE_Profile_Side_by_Side_refrig.pdf
Other than that switch, the only other control that would keep these things from working would seem to be the control board. There are several tests you can run with a meter and I suggest you try to do the tests before replacing the board. There has been a recall on several GE refrigerators, and that control board (located on bottom left on back) has been known to fail quite a bit. Check on Amazon for a new one and check on a warranty and recall.
