I've been on birth control for about a year now and started a new pack on June 1st.. then on the 5th and 6th of June I forgot to take my birth control and then doubled up the next 2 days. I had unprotected sex June 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th and used the pull-out method. I think the days I missed my because could be the days I might have ovulated.. could I be pregnant? No rude comments, I'm old enough and me and my boyfriend are ready if this were to happen.

Please don't attempt to dictate how your question will be answered. Volunteers here are entitled to their opinions.
Doubling up after you skip two pills is neither advisable nor recommended.
The pull out method is pretty much a joke.
You don't need to miss the pills on the "days [you] might have ovulated" in order to get pregnant. You can, in theory, get pregnant at ANY time in your cycle. Here is info on how the birth control pill works: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-topics/birth-control/birth-control-pill-4228.htm
How old is "old enough?" If you want a baby, are ready for a baby, why are you on the pill?

Yes I am ready to take the responsibility to have a baby. I am on the pill because I didn't get off it yet to try and conceive. Just been talking about it with my boyfriend. But I'm just wondering what the chances are of me becoming pregnant in this situation..

Hi :)
Depending on how many days your cycle comes, depends on when you ovulate. On average, a woman with a 28 day cycle usually ovulates around the 12-14th day. With saying that, that is the time you are most fertile in which the chances of pregnancy are higher than any other time throughout the month. The pull out method is not a good way of preventing pregnancy, but if you're a couple that says "if it happens when it happens" then do whatever you like. If anyone judges then let them. :) Being on birth control and missing 2 pills can get confusing. Depending on which pill you are on depends on whether you can take 1 or two after missing them. I have been on birth control for years because my period was NEVER regular. I was getting it 2-3 times a month. There were times when I forgot to take my pills for 2 days but after reading the back of the package I knew it was okay to take 2 at one time. But never take more than that as it can really mess with your next cycle. Even taking 2 is not recommended but it will not harm you and even taking 2 can make you a few days late for your next menstrual cycle. If something happens and you are late take a pregnancy test. If its negative, take another a week later. If its negative again and you have yet to get it or you are not feeling your normal self, go see your doctor and he may do a blood test to determine whether you are pregnant or not. Best of luck to you.

This isn't about judging people - it's about giving correct info. My source does not agree with your post that WHEN you miss the two pills matters.
Where did you research? Happy to correct myself if my site is wrong.

Anytime you miss any pills, it lessons its effects and makes it more likely to become pregnant.
And of course "pull out" is not a an effective method of birth control,
Next even with pills, taken properly you can become pregnant.
So you really increased the chances, so I am glad you are ready for the responsibility if it happens.

My cycle is 28 days. And I am on Sprintec birth control and it is okay if I double up when I miss. So I doubled up the next two days. I's supposed to get my period on Monday June 18th and I missed the 2 pills around the time I think I was most fertile. I don't want to wait to see if I miss my period, so what would be the earliest I could take a home pregnancy test with it being pretty accurate?

I understand you don't want to wait for your period, however, that's the only thing you can do at this time. The first symptom of pregnancy IS a missed period.
For accuracy, make sure you take the pregnancy test using first morning urine.

No. In fact, most women don't get an accurate result until the second missed period. Some women do find out sooner, and get an accurate result only days after their missed period, but they're not the norm.
You should wait until you're at least a week late before testing. If it's negative, you'll have to wait for another week, 2 or until your next period is due, and test again.
