I have stage 3 kidney disease, the past 18 hours, I have had severe pain, almost spasm type pain-that comes and goes. It about takes my breath away when it hits. It is on my lower right side in the back just under ribs. Thanks for listening.

I'm sure you know Stage 3 is Moderate Kidney Disease. Any severe pain has to be treated by a Physician.

It could be a kidney problem or just about anything else.

You need to speak to your nephrologist.
