Hi my hair is naturally dark brown, I have had bleach highlights for years, but can't keep up with it, the roots come through within 2 weeks, I'm also going a bit grey I want to go dark brown, a local hairdresser coloured it a redish brown and it looked fab then it faded, she did it again but it never took, so I waited 2 weeks and tried a light brown nice and easy none permanent, it looks brassy, my local hairdresser phoned me and asked if I want my hair done again I said yes but I want to go dark brown she said that's fine, but I'm worried it won't take, can I go back to brown over bleach highlights, and will it cover the bits of grey any one have any answers
