How to check if a three inch drain pipe has enough slope to prevent pooling?
A 3"" drain requires 1/4" slope to the foot. Not enough slope and you will have poor drainage and backups. Too much slope and the water drains so fast it leaves solids behind. Did that answer your question? Cheers, Tom
