Can a Honeywell VR8304H4255 Valve, 3/4x3/4, Natural, IID, all be used in place of a Teledyne Laars R0096400 Pool Heater Gas Valve, Natural, Previous Part #V0073800?

I would stick with the exact valve that was on the unit OR get the valve that is the factory replacement. Many Teledyne/Laars units use a specific valve for a design reason specified by the manufacturer.
