Me and my Fiancé have been talking about our wedding - and the other day he said he wants his cousin to be one and got really offended when I said I don't really want her as one plus she is only 12. I don't want to seem selfish towards him or her, but , but the thing is I already have my four sisters, my cousin and his sister who I am very close too. I want an even amount of bridesmaids too. - please help me.
Thanks x

12 is too young to be a bridesmaid... hell she's hardly even out of puberty yet. He gets to pick the guys side of the bridal party... you get to pick the brides side.

Need to get through to him? Throw up a few guys on your side of the family you REALLY want in the party... on his side.

My 12-year-old future sister-in-law was made our official junior bridesmaid and ringbearer. She followed the bridesmaids down the aisle and was ahead of me in the procession. She had no male partner. At the reception, I put her in charge of the gift table, to keep the cards and gifts in order (and guard them!). She wore her own special dress (that she could wear later) in a color that matched part of the bridesmaids' dresses.
