I just had a D&C along with a Novasure Abliation last month on the 24th, since the surgery I had increased abdominal pain especially on my left side, some days are worse then others, the pain is unbearable sometimes, I have follow up appt. with my GYN doctor on the 7th, I haved call her office & spoke to one of the nurses. She asked me was I still taking my pain pills, I said yes, but the pain pills don't touch the pain, I don't like taking pain meds, I'm 42years old & I started back to work this past Sat. I'm a unit secretary on my job, I thought it would be OK for me to return to work, I was in a lot of pain just sitting at my desk, my fellow co-workers can see the pain all over my face. When I read the brochure about the Novasure, it was a lot of positive responses about this surgery so I thought until I read other people's comments who had the same surgery on the internet, I was having similar pain just like them, I don't want to be in pain for the rest of my life, it all started with me not having a mentrual cycle for the past 4years then I get one on the 21st of March, I was having a lot abdominl pain & the bleeding was uncontrollable, I was soaking through all my clothing, was in the E.R. twice, the doctors putting me on different hormone pills to try in get the bleeding to stop, when it finally did go away on May 10th, my doctor suggested, I should read the brochure on the Novasure. My pain level right now is awful, I just want my life back with no more pain, would a MRI help to detect this surgery went OK, or should I just go in have a hysterectomy?
