I'm female, 16 and all my mates shave, the first time I tried though it bled & itched all the time! Is there meant to be NO hair or only a little? I don't know HOW to shave down there or what with and things.. :L
PLEASE HELP!

Personally I think you are meant to have hair down there which is why it's there. Just keep it trimmed. If you are going to shave, use a good razor. And use a cream or soap. Don't do it dry. If you are bleeding, what are you shaving with?

It goes against the grain of human thinking at this point in time, but hair is there for a reason. It absorbs odor, it keeps bacteria out of the vagina, etc. Neatly trimmed is appropriate, but smooth shaving can cause infection.

You're not doing something right if it's bleeding for one. Itching is normal, and subsides with time. Eventually you will itch less and become more comfortable with it. As far as the bleeding goes, my girlfriend uses soap to shave down there, something to moisten the skin and lubricate so that you don't pull and tear and scratch.

(This is all second hand from my girlfriend)

I'm using just a normal razor, venus. But the hairs are sharp after I shave?I can never get it smooth and no hairs.. I feel like my boyfriend won't want to go down there even if there's a little hair? I feel unattractive..

You will never be able to get all of them perfectly, but shave upwards. That's what the girlfriend does, and for a few days, it's perfect.

I hope you are not cutting yourself up just for your boyfriend. Pubic hair is a natural thing and it has only been recent that no hair is the thing . I think it is not sanitary myself.
But a teenage boy is not going to care about hair.
If your feeling of being attractive is tied to your pubic hair, you have a esteem problem and it's not about hair.
