Hi, my ceiling fan will turn on & off by itself also the lights on it come on. I can change the dip settings but don't know where the settings are located on the fan itself or how easy it is to access them it will be. Maybe that isn't even the problem. Can you help?

It will be on the receiver in the cover up by the junction box.
