I have just found out the man I have been talking to is not truly the Army soldier I thought he was, I would like to find the real man and let him know what is going on. I only have photos, and a last name, along with the false name given to me by the scammer. How do I find the real man? I have several some of him alone and others with groups.

Has he asked for money or "stuff"? How did you get to be suspicious?

He has asked for money for his prossessing fees some he come "home" and marry me and start a family, and he has been talking to me on Yahoo for hours a day everyday. And his grammar is way off. The money he wanted sent he wanted it sent to Nigeria giving the reason as he has to use agents from there to receive money do to security reasons. I know this not to be true, and no I have not sent him any money.

Ah, Nigeria. Big tip-off. He is part of a scam to get money out of what he thinks are love-hungry women. He probably doesn't exist as who you think he is. There are entire teams of people who could be interacting with you.

Yes, I understand this, but I really wish I could find the man in the photos, and let him know how his face, and last name is being used. I have reported him to the CID, and sent them the photos I have received along with all of our conversations, hoping maybe they can catch him, and stop him from doing this to some one else.

It isn't just one person doing this. They grab photos off the Internet and Facebook and wherever. It would be nearly impossible to ID the guy in the photo. I could "steal" 100 photos off the Internet during the next hour, give them fictitious names, and no one could do anything about it.

It is just a shame, some people can do this and get away with it.

Unfortunately, there's no Internet police force or laws that govern Internet use. Anyone can do just about anything. Local police forces/FBI, etc. are always alert for child abuse and situations like you got into by hearing reports from real people. We have to all be each other's keepers and protectors against the scammers and others who have no good intentions.
