I let a guy take over payments on a dirtbike of mine he still owes me 1500 dollars on the bike , the bike is now paid off by me a couple of years ago I have witnesses that now about the deal but no proof of what he actually owes me on the bike I have not received any money from him in well over a year finally got in touch with him and he says he is going to pay me but he has not yet is there any chance of me getting any money if I take him to small claims court I am just sick of dealing with tracking him down trying to get money and getting the run around

Yes, but you would greatly increase your chances if first you got him to sign an agreement specifying such things as what he paid for the bike, and what he still owes. That way it won't be just your word against his, if litigation becomes necessary.
