A Mitt Romney app is looking for a better "Amercia" while Obama angered the entire country of Poland by referring to "Polish death camps."

Dueling Gaffes: Obama’s ‘Polish Death Camps’ Versus Romney’s ‘Amercia’ (http://www.mediaite.com/online/dueling-gaffes-obamas-polish-death-camps-versus-romneys-amercia/)

Not a shining day for "America," but at least Romney didn't insult Poland.

Hmm... flashbacks to Dan Quayle's famous misspell of the word "potato " and President Ford's major gaffe in the debate with candidate Jimmy Carter when he claimed that Poland wasn't under Soviet domination.
I bet neither of Romney's or Obama's gaffes get the media attention that the Quayle and Ford ones got.

Probably not, like Obama's "corpseman" moment. I just learned today that Biden was headed to "Road Island (http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-02-20/news/31081050_1_joe-biden-holiday-weekend-bemidgi)" back in February.

A twofer here, fresh off "Polish death camps" remark he was busy pandering to the Jewish community (http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-stressed-he-probably-knows-about-judaism-more-any-other-president_646293.html) in Chicago while again inflating his reputation above that of past presidents. He "stressed he probably knows about Judaism more than any other president, because he read about it."

He must have missed the part where 3 million Polish Jews were victims of The Final Solution in Nazi death camps.

Got a couple updates .
First ;one of the Metal of Freedom recipients was Dolores Huerta ;the honorary chair of the Democratic Socialists of America. She is a big fan of Hugo Chavez.

Another interesting sidenote is reported at WSJ .

The Poles wanted Lech Walesa to receive the medal on Karski's behalf, but the White House nixed the choice. Last year, during Mr. Obama's visit to Poland, the hero of Solidarity refused to attend a large gathering to meet the younger leader. Mr. Walesa felt entitled to a tete-a-tete. Administration officials told Polish journalists that Mr. Walesa's presence was too "political" for this week's occasion. Poles read something else into it: Mr. Obama holds grudges. The counter-snub was the talk of Poland last week.
Matthew Kaminski: 'Gafa Obamy' - WSJ.com (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702303674004577435262640946168.html?m od=wsj_share_tweet)

So while the comment about "Polish death camps " may have been a snafu ;the snub of Walesa;a national hero ,and a fellow Nobel Peace Prize winner, was a legitimate slap in the face by a petty spiteful President. The snub probably has something more to do with critical comments that Walsea has made in the past about Obama .

Of course Walsa earned his Prize after years of courageous fighting for liberty .Obama was awarded for his supposed potential (how's that working out for you Nobel committee? ) . But Obama appears to dislike his fellow award recipients... note the way he treated the Dali Lama .
