The clean out on our sewer system runs through a concrete footing and needs to be replaced. The concrete has to be chiselled out. What is the process of removing the old cast iron cleanout and replacing with PVC pipe?
We have tried tarring the old pipe however this was a waste of time.

What, exactly do you wish to replace. The cleanout or the cleanout and cast iron pipe? If you're trying to replace both is the hub the pipe's connected to so you can get to it? Let me know, Tom

Cast iron cleanout. There is copper pipe going into cleanout and cast iron coming out going into the footing. I have chipped away concrete footing to just below the hub

The cast iron cleanout. I have chipped away the concrete footing to just below the hub. The pipe going into the cleanout is copper and the cleanout is cast iron going into the drain.

I still need to know what's coming out of the hub. Pleas go connection by connection starting with the hub and ending with the cleanout. Back to you, Tom

Not sure what you mean by Hub? This is a vertical drain running into where the cleanout is and there is a connection just below the cleanout (which is what I thought was the hub. The pipe running out to city sewer connection is inside the concrete footing . I can only get about 2/3 of the concrete chipped away because of location of drain. How much concrete would have to be chiselled out in order to connect a new fitting?

We have no floor drains in the basement.
