I was only 16 yrs old when the child was born in march 2008. I did sign the birth certificate stating that I was the father from what I remember and I did go to court the first time child reach out to me in June 2010. I never was married to the mother. I agreed when they ask if I was the father and I believe I sign some paperwork at this time. I live in California. Can I stop paying child support?

You acknowledged the child. Until a court declares someone else the legal father, you are on the hook for support.

Yes I have, I am not the biological father.

Who did the test under what circumstances? Was it part of any court action?
