I haven't had a period in almost two years. I'm 17. I started my period when I was 14 and had regular periods for a few months, and then they stopped. I had lost some weight so I think that might be why they stopped, but I've been the same weight for over a year and I still haven't gotten my period yet. I'm very worried! Please help!

I had a faint recollection of what that is the result of so I looked it up. I think you have amenorrhea. I think it may be a result of your low body fat based off the fact that you said you lost weight and your weight didn't change indicating that you still have very low body fat. However, there have been conflicting results to some studies to the above statement and it has been dismissed for the most part. I still have the low body fat ingrained but take a look at this website and pay attention to secondary amennorhea: Menstruation - absent: MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003149.htm)
Last, I am not a doctor and all the responses you get here, no matter who they are from it is best to get it checked out by a professional if it is really bothering you or just for your health.
Good luck :)
