Can a landlord come into my room without my permission and can they tell me what I can say on the phone in my room?

If it's their phone they can, meaning the phone is in their name... and if you have roommates... there are plenty of valid reasons they could come into the room. You can always get a cell phone that's yours and then you can do what you want... or at least can afford.

I've terminated phone service before due to a roommate that abused it.. It was after all in my name...

If you expect full privacy then you need to rent your own place. Absent any roommates.

Depends on your agreement with the "landlord." Can they tell you what you can say? I don't know what that means.

What did you say that "they" said you couldn't say - or the other way around?

A landlord can ask you to be quiet if your talking is too loud or too late at night. But they can't tell you what you can say. Even if it is their phone.

A landlord generally can enter your private space for emergency repairs or with prior notice. But not at will.

If you are paying rent you have an entitlement to some level of privacy.
