We have a Pegasus single handle pull out faucet in our kitchen. After being away for the weekend we came home last night and went to fill the dogs dish with water. Water came out for a few seconds then nothing! All the other faucets in the house work, there is no leaking under the sink or in the basement. We turned the valves off and on and disconnected the line from the valve to the faucet and water came out when we reopened the valve. I don't think it's the aerator because when the valve is open no water seems to be in the all in one sprayers tube. Any Ideas how to fix this or how this happened in the first place?

If your spout and sprayer don't work then I'd suspect the cartridge is clogged. Shut the water off to the valve and open it up. Remove the cartridge and check and clean the inlet ports. Now place a pan over the open valve and turn the water back on to flush out the supplies and valve body. Reassemble and test. Good luck, Tom
