I have a Murray 40508x92 40" riding mower. The housing (spindle/mandrel/jackshaft) has been damaged. I am trying to remove this part from another parts mower I have.
I have removed the blade but I have no idea how to remove bolt on top of the jackshaft Pully. The pulley keeps moving and there is a spacer so I am unable to get pipe wrench below the pulley to hold and keep from spinning as I try to loosen nut. Any ideas or tricks to get this off so I can replace housing.
