Please advise how to write self introduction letter to apply for a job

Address the letter to a specific person. If necessary, call to find out this person's name. Your letter should be short, one page, three paragraphs. First paragraph--how do you know about the job opening. Second paragraph--something about you, how you would fit into the company's culture, and several bulleted points listing your special skills/accomplishments in the past that would interest this company. Third paragraph--thanks for their consideration in reading this letter and a statement that you will follow up with a phone call within x number of days. And be sure to follow up.
