More information would be useful, like what was the reason for the tag and the actual judgement/sentence.

He was caught selling weed for the third time and got on house arrest gor 6 months

If he violated probation, then he is liable for the balance of the original sentence.

This guy had 6 months on house arrest took the anckle bracelet off he is on the run... I know he will get the 6 months in jail but how much more for being on the run... another question will it add more if he goes to another state if so how much time

No one can tell you. It will be up to the judge.

In Georgia, this is escape from custody and is treated fairly well the same as escaping from jail. His "jail" since he was on home arrest was his home according to the rules and usage of the ankle bracelet.

Also he will have criminal damage to properly for destroying the bracelet.

The last person here in GA that did this got 36 months in prison for "escape" and had to serve 18 of them.
He would have most likely gotten more time to serve but he turned his self in after a couple weeks.

Remember there will be a warrant out for him just like any escaped prisoner, so the police will not be treating him well at his arrest, in fact he will be considered very dangerous and could be hurt badly if they catch him.
