I have a female rat and 3 other males, one still being a baby.
The baby is definitely not interested in my female that way, but the other males are always shoving their faces into her vagina. She doesn't seem to like the attention, but I would like to know if they would mate with her whether she liked it or not. She's been alone almost all her life and the males haven't seen a female since babyhood so help would be appreciated! I really want some baby ratties
Ps. I've owned rats my whole life but never more then one so I'm a bit new at this

Yes, and they might fight to the death. Separate her from the males - for her own peace and safety if for no other reason.

Multiple males and one female are NOT a good idea.

Well, I think fighting to the death is a bit far. All the rats are calm, and all have never been violent or aggressive ever. My female, Tempest, she's a bit more aggressive then the others but she's still resonably calm she's only bitten a person twice in the 10 months she's been alive and both times are when she was a baby the others have never fought or bitten another or human

And I never let the female alone with the males or the baby so theyd never gt the chance to hurt each other but I appreciate the advice do you maybe know how I could get her to mate with one?

I don't know why you posted the question if you already know the answer. Yes, animals fight to the death when it comes to sex. She's only bitten twice? Yikes!

Put the female and ONE male in a cage together and see what happens. Nothing happens? Try another male. I trust you've read the info on which rats should be bred, which should not, how many die unwanted every year. the Rat Report (http://ratfanclub.org/repro.html)

Why are you interested in breeding? I think you should learn more before you continue your attempts to have babies.

I'm looking for the thread not so long ago where the female didn't appreciate the male's advances and bit his head off.
