I have a John Deere L118, it has the 20 HP motor. It used to run for about 15 min then cut off, so I replaced the fuel pump, now it starts, but shuts off after 2 seconds. I unhooked the fuel line and no fuel is coming out of the fuel pump when I turn it over. I can blow air all the way up into the gas tank, so it's not clogged.

Depending on the gas tank involved, it could be the fuel line is pinched by the frame(early model, center rear) or the line has come loose from the connctor on the tank top9late model, left under seat platform.) On alterante is that the pickup tube has come loose or broken #GY21104

PS First two do not require parts - reroute line in groove in tank or reattach line.
